Ko Samui Airport Passenger Departures Surge by Up to 16% in Mid-2026

Passenger volume to and from Ko Samui Airport has seen a significant year-over-year surge heading into the mid-year high season. Departures increased by 16% in May and 11% in June compared to the corresponding months in 2025. July 2026 traffic is already up 16% vs 25 days in July 25. About 15% of all passengers have departed directly to an international airport while another 14% had international flight connections via Bangkok airport using CIQ.
